A plot is, basically, the events that make up a story or are part of a story. The plot can have very little to very many events. It's kind of like the storyline.

Irony, similar to a paradox, is when something opposite happens from what you expected. The goal of the meeting was to talk about having shorter meetings, and they didn't manage to do so because the meeting lasted for too long, which is ironic.
