How did the passage of the GI bill change american cities and towns
Nostrana [21]
One of the main ways in which the passage of the GI bill changed American cities and towns is that it helped reduce income inequality--since it provided for the free college education of veterans returning from war--many of whom would have had to take lower-paying jobs without being able to utilize the GI bill.

How did the Vietnam War contribute to the growing immigrant population of the United States?
noname [10]

Answer:

D) Hundreds and thousands of Southeast Asia refugees arrived after 1974 after Vietnam War

Explanation:

Following the battle in Vietnam in 1975, a lot of Vietnamese immigrated to the US and some Asian countries due to inhumane acts and displacements in the Indochina region (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos). Over the year until 1980, refugee immigration had increased with more than 500,000 people as leaving Vietnam.

The fall of Saigon led to the evacuation of the Vietnamese who were closely affiliated with the former Vietnam government or United States. The evacuated people from Vietnam became immigrant or refugees in the United State. However, more and more people from Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia fled their countries due to economic crisis and communism.
