Answer:

see the explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Find the total yards of the fencing

Divide the total cost by the cost per yard

so

156/6.50=24\ yd

step 2

Draw two possible plans for the garden

case a) A square garden

The perimeter of a square is equal to

P=4b

where

b is the length side of the square

we have

P=24\ yd

substitute

24=4b

b=6\ yd

case b) A rectangular garden

The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to

P=2(L+W)

where

L is the length of the rectangle

W is the width of the rectangle

Assume

L=8\ yd

we have

P=24\ yd

L=8\ yd

substitute

24=2(8+W)

solve for W

12=8+W

W=12-8=4\ yd

The drawing of the two possible plans in the attached figure

Find the length of the missing side of the triangle. The lengths of the triangles are 5m and 14m. The answer choices are:
torisob [31]
I guess you mean 5m and 14m are the lengths of 2 sides of the triangle.

If  the length of any side is equal or greater than the sum of the other 2 sides then you can;t make a triangle.

So for example  19 cannot  the answer because 19 = 5 + 14 .  No triangle can be formed with sides that measure.
and 38 is greater than 14 + 5 so its cant be C.

The answer is A

Please help asap! I need this done tomorrow
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

2x + 3y = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard form:

Ax + By = C

So from the given form, arrange it to the standard form.

First, simplify the form by distribution.

y + 6 = -2/3(x - 11)

y + 6 = -2/3x + 22/3

Next, you make the fractions into whole by multiplying both sides by 3(this would eliminate all fractions).

(3)y + 3(6) = 3(-2/3x) + 3(22/3)

3y + 18 = -2x + 22

Now, arrange the "Ax" and the "C's".

3y + 18 = -2x + 22

2x + 3y + 18 = 22

2x + 3y = 22 - 18

2x + 3y = 4

Cheers!
