Answer:

is a simple question just to be United in one love and agree in one mind without any objection

Explanation:

I’ll be honest, sometimes I get into arguments with progressive friends about what the current political movement requires. There are well-meaning folks passionate about social justice, who think things have gotten so bad, the lines have been so starkly drawn, that we have to fight fire with fire, we have to do the same things to the Republicans that they do to us, adopt their tactics, say whatever works, make up stuff about the other side. I don’t agree with that. It’s not because I’m soft. It’s not because I’m interested in promoting an empty bipartisanship. I don’t agree with it because eroding our civic institutions and our civic trust and making people angrier and yelling at each other and making people cynical about government, that always works better for those who don’t believe in the power of collective action

What successes did women achieve in the years after Reconstruction?
Finger [1]
By 1920 they had the vote, and from the 1860s onwards they were making slow but steady progress towards that. I’m pretty sure they gained a lot of economic mobility during this time.

Which law established martial law in the south after the Civil War
ycow [4]

It was the law of recostruction, passed on March 2, 1867, which envisaged the vote of black people in the election of the delegates drafting the new state constitutions in the southern United States. To restore political autonomy, such states should extend the "privilege" of voting to black men over twenty-one. If indeed in that context the vow was thought of as a privilege, and not exactly as a right, the data to be observed was that such privilege, for the first time, was recorded in a law referring to the ex-slave states, as an independent exercise of race, color or condition.

The political climate following the first Reconstruction Law stimulated discussions about black citizenship rights. In 1868, Congress ratified Amendment XIV, taking the issue of black citizenship to the center of national political discussion. The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution established citizenship as an attribute of persons born in the United States, or naturalized therein, thus independent of the origin or the previous condition of the subject. It was thus indicated that both blacks and former slaves enjoyed general political rights in the nation and in their states of residence. Such states, moreover, should be punished with the diminution of representation in the Federal Congress if they did not respect the voting rights of the blacks.

Answer:

D) The Appalachian Mountains blocked English movement westward

Explanation:

Once the English set foot in the New World they quickly started to settle in and create lot of settlements. There were lot of expeditions organized with the purpose to better know the new lands, to see if there's more of it that can be used, is there natural resources, other people etc. The explorations though were initially limited to the east coast and the eastern part of the Appalachian Mountains. The reason for this was that the Appalachians were a mountain range that was acting like a natural barrier, having roughly northeast-southwest direction, it was setting apart the eastern coast from the interior of the continent. The high mountain range was too tough and too high for crossing in that period, so explorations west of it were largely avoided.
