Answer:

There are 3 unique triangles that can be drawn with interior angles measuring 40º, 40º and 100º.

Explanation:

We should remember that according to Euclidean geometry the sum of internal angles in every triangle equals 180º and that every angle is opposed by a side. Given the values of internal triangles, the possible combinations are described below:

\{100^{\circ}, 40^{\circ}, 40^{\circ}\}, \{40^{\circ}, 100^{\circ}, 40^{\circ}\}, \{40^{\circ}, 40^{\circ}, 100^{\circ}\}

There are 3 unique triangles that can be drawn with interior angles measuring 40º, 40º and 100º.

How Will Natural Gas Be Harnessed?
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:

Drilling companies drill vertically down to the desired distance and drill horizontally into the shale. They then use hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, to loosen up the rock enough to get the gas out.

Hope this helps

What is scale height? if the scale height of the earth is 8.6km, at what altitude on earth would the atmospheric pressure be onl
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

scale height = 19.80 km

Explanation:

given data

earth scale height = 8.6 km

atmospheric pressure = 10%

to find out

scale height

solution

we know that with the scale height we can find value of physical parameter that is change with height

and height is that value of pressure or density  \frac{1}{e} th of ground value

so we can say

(\frac{1}{e})^t  = 10%

(0.3678)^t  = 0.1

take log both side

t log(0.3678) = log 0.1

t = 2.3025

so

scale height for 10% is

scale height = 2.3025 × 8.6

scale height = 19.80 km

what is the approximate latitude and longitude of the south American location marked by the black dot on this diagram
Tems11 [23]

Answer: Latitude:15\° S Longitude:45\°W

Explanation:

The diagram was not attached. However, I attached the image below with the marked dot.

Well, let's begin by explaining what Latitutde and Longitude are:

<u>Latitude</u> is defined as the angular distance between the equatorial line (the red line in the image) and a specific point on the Earth. Dividing the planet in the <u>northern hemisphere</u> and the <u>southern hemisphere</u>, depending on the location of the geographical point with respect to the equator.

These are imaginary horizontal lines that never touch (that is why they are parallel) that travel across the Earth globe from East to West, forming circles that become smaller and smaller as they get closer to the poles. Where the equator line is known as parallel 0\°, and the degrees of latitude reach up to 90\°North or 90\°South.

On the other hand, <u>Longitude</u> represents the specific east–west position of a point on the Earth's surface, being longitude 0\° the <u>prime meridian or Greenwich meridian (</u>magenta line<u>)</u>.

So, in this case we have the globe divided in parallels in sections of 30\° each and something similar happens to the meridians.

As we can see, the black dot is in the middle of two parallels:

The Equator with latitude 0\° and latitude 30\° S.

This means the latitude of this point is  15\° S.

Now, this same dot is in the middle of two meridians:

Longitude 30\° W and longitude 60\°W

This means the longitude of this point is  45\° W.

Therefore, the coordinates of this points are:

Latitude:15\° S Longitude:45\°W
