1512 I believe! :) I would double all the dimensions first, then multiply them all together.

Answer:

Volume of the wooden block is 1512 cm³ .

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula

Volume of right rectangular prism = Length × Breadth × Height

As given

Two blocks of wood are shaped as right rectangular prisms.

The smaller block has a length of 9 cm, a width of 3 cm, and a height of 7 cm.

As given

The dimensions of the larger block are double the dimensions of the smaller block.

Length of the larger block = 2 × Length of the smaller block

                                            = 2 × 9

                                            = 18 cm

Breadth of the larger block = 2 × Breadth of the smaller block

                                            = 2 × 3

                                            = 6 cm

Height of the larger block = 2 × Height of the smaller block

                                            = 2 × 7

                                            = 14 cm

Put in the formula

Volume of larger wooden block = 18 × 6 × 14

                                                     = 1512 cm³

Therefore the volume of the wooden block is 1512 cm³ .

If a recipe calls for 0.800 kg of flour , about how many ounces of flour does it need? (1lb=16 oz, 1 lb = 0.454 kg )
stiks02 [169]
For this case we must take into account the following conversions of units:
 1lb = 16 oz
 1 lb = 0.454 kg
 Applying the conversion of units we have:
 (0.800) * (1 / 0.454) * (16/1) = 28.1938326
 Rounding off we have:
 28.2 oz
 Answer:

it needs 28.2 oz of flour

Write the equation of the circle below to complete the square. Also determine the area of the circle.
diamong [38]

Answer: (x-7)^2+(y+2)^2=11^2 ; A=121\pi

Step-by-step explanation:

I have never done a problem like this, so this is my first time attempting it.

The standard form for the equation of a circle is:

(x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2

Begin by grouping the 'x' terms and 'y' terms:

(x^2-14x)+(y^2+4y-68)=0

Complete the square for the second polynomial:

(\frac{b}{2} )^2=(\frac{4}{2} )^2=4

(x^2-14x)+(y^2+4y+4-4-68)=0

(x^2-14x)+(y^2+4y+4)-4-68=0

(x^2-14x)+(y^2+4y+4)-72=0

(x^2-14x)+(y+2)^2-72=0

Do the exact same process with the other polynomial:

(x^2-14x-72)+(y+2)^2=0

Complete the square:

(\frac{14}{2} )^2=49

(x^2-14x+49-49-72)+(y+2)^2=0

(x^2-14x+49)-49-72+(y+2)^2=0

(x^2-14x+49)-121+(y+2)^2=0

(x-7)^2-121+(y+2)^2=0

Bring the 121 to the other side to get:

(x-7)^2+(y+2)^2=121

(x-7)^2+(y+2)^2=11^2

The above expression is the equation of our circle in standard form. It is centered at the coordinates (7, -2) and has a radius of 11 units. The area of a circle if given by:

A=\pi r^2=121\pi

sue has 5 ropes of 5350 mm each.If she ties them together to make one long rope and each kont takes up 15 cm,how long will the r
Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

(hopefully) 2,600

Explanation:

5350 mm = 535 cm

= 535 x 5( 5 ropes) = 2675 cm

= 15 cm × 5 ( five knots for 5 ropes) = 75cm

= 2675- 75 = 2600.

hopefully im right...

Write an equation for the quadratic graphed below
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

LOL The graph doesn’t match the y intercept :)

Anyway

If we have point (0,-3) we have a quadratic of

y=ax^2+bx-3 we are given points (-1,0) and (2,0) so

a-b-3=0 and 4a+2b-3=0

4a+2b-3+2(a-b-3)=0

4a+2b-3+2a-2b-6=0

6a-9=0

6a=9

a=1.5, since a-b=3

1.5-b=3

b=-1.5

y=1.5x^2-1.5x-3
