Answer:

Explanation:

One big thing was the Arms Race

While Russia had no strict human rights policy and favored economic advantage, US was falling behind and their economic policy differed from Russia’s in many ways. One specific instance of the two fighting was the Cuban Missile Crisis. The USSR thought that they should stake missiles in Cuba to ward off the lead the US was obtaining in missiles and such. This example shows just how deadly the feud between Russia and the US was mainly because their economic goals differed. (Communism vs capitalism)

dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

America celebrates July 4 as Independence Day because it was on July 4, 1776, that members of the Second Continental Congress, meeting in Philadelphia, adopted the final draft of the Declaration of Independence. Over time, various other summertime activities also came to be associated with the Fourth of July, including historical pageants, picnics, baseball games, watermelon-eating contests, and trips to the beach. Common foods include hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, apple pie, coleslaw, and sometimes clam bakes.

1. Did Troy really exist?
jonny [76]

Answer:

Yes, Troy did exist.

Explanation:

Most historians now agree that ancient Troy was to be found at Hisarlik. Troy was real. Evidence of fire, and the discovery of a small number of arrowheads in the archaeological layer of Hisarlik that corresponds in date to the period of Homer's Trojan War, may even hint at warfare.
