Answer:

Although we can't find a "universally agreed" answer for this, the commonly seen 4 steps are as follows.

  1. Bringing attention to the issues
  2. Showing different views on issues
  3. Holding candidates/officials accountable
  4. Allowing the officials to communicate with Citizens

Explanation:

Now let's break it down and get a closer look at each stage of the process.

Usually, a community facing an issue have yo handle it all by themselves. However, since the media can reach a larger audience, they can bring the attention of many people to a certain issue in a shorter period of time.

An example is the News that brings information and insight into certain issues face by different communities.

Moreover, rather than relying on a single party's view point, media can bring in to attention the various view points and opinions of a certain issue by different people. This is a vital process as it allows for more transparency and democracy.

Then, when the evidences and the root causes regarding a certain issue have been clearly identified, the media can hold the related officials/authorities accountable. That is, directly pointing a finger at the responsible parties.

Finally, the media can act as a channel of communication between the citizens and the officials. They can create a platform in which the citizens are able to communicate their requirements to the officials and the officials can communicate their decisions and resolutions.

11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
Before Einstein, it was believed that science was just all about compact summaries and experience during research. When Einstein arrives on the scene, his theory of relativity was able to open new paths towards complicated mathematical equations that other scientists didn't know about. This opened up tons of opportunities that shaped up science and how we calculate various mathematical problems that can be used in various aspects of the world.

Why did the treaty of Versallies fail to win support in America?
adoni [48]

One of the reasons of the failure is because it had failed to prevent the Second World War to occur. The purpose of the treaty itself was to stop another big war to exist again on this earth, yet it had unsuccessfully done so. The war still happened and the destruction of it was even larger and more serious than in WWI and other war in history of humankind due to the fact that the technology is increasing, and thus the weapons using are more powerful than ever, for instance, aircrafts, tanks, machine guns, and especially the use of nuclear bombs in Japan to end the war. Consequently, it resulted in dead of 75 million people including 20 million soldiers and 40 million civilians.

Furthermore, the cause of failure of the treaty was because it was lack of the enforcement mechanism and lack of willingness of the allied powers. Many terms stipulated in the treaty were not implemented. For example, the 14 points of President Woodrow Wilson including “1) no more secret treaties, 2) countries must seek to reduce their weapons and their armed forces, 3) national self-determination should allow people of the same nationality to govern themselves and one nationality should not have the power to govern another , 4) all countries should belong to the League of Nations,” and an intention of France in dividing Germany into smaller states did not occur, and thus it just caused the treaty to become weak; as a result, Germany could take the advantages of it.
