If haploid didn't occur on gametes, it would occur on diploid, which would increase the number of chromosomes, and the child would have a lot of them.
So, what would happen if gametes were not haploid is that B. the offspring would have double the number of chromosomes it is supposed to have.

There's tropism and stimulus, for starters. Gravity, light, and touch can all be used as stimuli. So it is debatable... If the plant is reaching upwards towards a window that is above it... It would then be light, and the plant's response would be to reach upward.

I would say energy myself, and this is because energy plays a key role in all of these. With trophic levels energy is being transferred amongst the levels. Food chain's is a map of how the energy is passed along the chain. Food web is a web of how energy is transferred, and this is why I would say energy is a keyword.
