Answer:

In essence, a music piece's beat is its unchanging tempo, while the rhythm is a pattern in which a piece's notes flow.

The beat is the steady pulse that you feel in the tune, like a clock's tick. It's the beat you'd naturally clap along to, or tap your foot to. The rhythm is the actual sound or time value of the notes, which in a song would also be the same as the words.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! When scout tries to tell jem about miss gates, why does he react so violently? (from to kill a mockingbird)
Brilliant_brown [7]
In chapter 26, when Scout tries to talk to Jem about Miss Gates she mentions the courthouse.  Jem grabs Scout and tells her never to mention that courthouse to him again.  Jem is still very upset about what happened to Tom Robinson.  He believed that the jury would find Tom innocent because Atticus proved that he did not hurt Mayella.  Jem's innocent outlook on life was stolen from him that day and he has yet to deal with it emotionally.  Atticus tells Scout, "don't let Jem get you down."

solniwko [45]

Try replacing the word woman with any of those four words. Try to simplify the passage over all, and which ever one makes sense, is the right one. I'm assuming weakness is correct, because it says "therefore i forbid my tears" claiming they wont cry, and in this world, crying is a sign of weakness. But i would just get a few more opinions on it :)
