Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the distance travelled by the helicopter and the plane.

Let t represent the time it takes the the helicopter to travel x miles

Speed of the helicopter is 180 miles per hour.

Distance travelled = speed × time

x = 180t

Twenty minutes later, a plane leaves the airport and follows the helicopter at 330mi/hr. Converting 20 minutes to hours, it becomes 20/60 minutes

Time taken for the plane to travel x miles is t - 20/60

x = 330(t - 20/60)

Before the plane overtakes the helicopter, they would have travelled equal distance. Therefore

330(t - 20/60) = 180t

330t - 110 = 180t

330t - 180t = 110

150t = 110

t = 110/150 = 0.73 hours

An airplane flew for 8 hours at an airspeed of x miles per hour (mph), and for 7 more hours at 325 mph. If the average airspeed

E. 8x+7(325)=15(325)

It would include the 8 hrs. of x miles per hour and the 7 hrs. of 325 miles per hour, giving the total miles. Then, as you eliminate, you can find out what (x) is.

Calculate the angle to the nearest degree: csc (x) = 1.0353
sammy [17]

Answer:

75^{\circ}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: \csc (x) = 1.0353

To find: angle to the nearest degree

Solution:

A triangle is a polygon that has three sides, three angles ,and three vertices.

Trigonometry explains the relationship between the sides and angles of the triangle.

The angle can be expressed in two forms: degrees or radians.

\csc (x) = 1.0353\\x=74.995\approx 75^{\circ}
