Answer:

1. Topic Sentence: It tells the reader what the topic of the paragraph is. It is usually the first sentence in a paragraph. It has two parts; a topic & a controlling idea a) the topic part names the topic b) the controlling idea tells what the paragraph will say about the topic.

2. Supporting Sentences : The middle part of the paragraph is called the body, and it consists of sentences that explain, or support, the topic sentence by giving more information. These sentences are called supporting sentences. There are two types of supporting sentences: major supporting sentences & minor supporting sentences. Major supporting sentences tell us about the topic sentence. Minor supporting sentences tell us more about the major supporting sentences.

3. Concluding sentence: A concluding sentence signals the end of the paragraph and reminds the reader of the main idea.

Explanation:

The topic sentence tells the reader what the topic of the paragraph is. It is usually the first sentence in a paragraph. It has two parts; a topic & a controlling idea a) the topic part names the topic b) the controlling idea tells what the paragraph will say about the topic.

The next part of a topic sentence is the supporting sentence. The supporting sentence/supporting details are called the body, and it consists of sentences that explain, or support, the topic sentence by giving more information. These sentences are called supporting sentences. There are two types of supporting sentences: major supporting sentences & minor supporting sentences. Major supporting sentences tell us about the topic sentence. Minor supporting sentences tell us more about the major supporting sentences.

Lastly, there are concluding sentences which is your conclusion. A concluding sentence signals the end of the paragraph and reminds the reader of the main idea.

The topic sentence generally is composed of three parts: (a) the topic itself and (b) the controlling idea (c) Supporting sentences. Writing effective topic sentences, however, involves more than merely stating the subject of the paragraph.

Write a letter to your parents persuading them to install an air condition unit in your house so that you won't have trouble sle
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

                                                     16 Palm Grove Drive

                                                      Massachussets

                                                     6th June, 2020

Dear Dad,

I hope you are doing good, You have always been a good father to me and Brook. I know you have our best interests at heart so i'm writing to you concerning a serious issue.

The heatwave since we entered summer this year has been unbearable in the house and as a result i find it difficult to sleep or study because i am always uncomfortable. This has begun to affect my studies as i noticed i started having shorter attention spans and i find it more difficult to understand much in class.

I believe if we can get an air conditioner and install in the house, all these problems would become a thing of the past and we can return to being comfortable. I love you dad.

                                                                                     Daniel.

Write an e-mail to the Principal of the neighboring school requesting
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

Letter to the principal of the neighboring school requesting for teachers to be sent to help judge the Poem recitation competition in my school.

Explanation:

To,

The Principal,

ABC Public School

..................

18 May 2017

Subject: Request for teachers to be sent to our school to judge the Poem Recitation competition.

Respected Sir,

Greetings on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Poem recitation organization.

Our school is going to organize a poem recitation competition for the next few days for which we would like to request if the teachers from your school are allowed to join as the judges. This has been decided to prevent any form of partiality among the teachers from our school, for which ‘outside’ teachers would be free from.

I would like to request you if you could kindly send us some teachers to help judge the Poem Recitation Competition organized by our school. It would be of great help if you could help us out.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Adam Driver

If brown bread was described as "food for left wing people", what made it become mainstream in the supermarket ecosystem?
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Explanation:

Hi there,

Frankly speaking, brown bread became mainstream in our grocery stores since it became easier to produce. Along with increased production, the product became associated with healthy food and weight loss. These are some ways brown bread has become mainstream today.

Hope this explanation helps.

Cheers.
