In her speech and in the novel The Giver she strongly felt the need of the society and the contributions that the society must make and it also portrays the emotions the feel and the pain for the community

Explanation:

The Giver was written by her in 1994 and it won the hearts of many people and in this book she dreamt of a  society in which the past was forgotten and the inhabitants lived in peaceful ignorance. She conveys the message hat how humans lost their connection with the past and they live in the flaws of the society and the pain endured

She envisioned a perfect world eliminating pain, fear,hunger, conflict and illness and these are the things that one wants to eliminate in their own society. In order to live in a peaceful society one must govern the relationships the individual language and freedom in the society
