In "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, the option that gives the idea that Gregor´s new physical form is disgusting to the family is D. Grete is grateful when Gregor hides himself under the couch so that she doesn't have to see him. Gregor wakes up one morming only to see that he has turned into a giant vermin. The whole family rejects him, and the sole idea of looking at him makes them sick.

I believe the answer is D, because the fact that Grete is grateful that she doesn't have to see him implies that she is disgusted by his appearance.

Which of the following quotes is the best excerpt to support a theme of having ambition and productivity versus idleness and ple
Kay [80]
I believe the answer is the second choice. "He was in one of his moods, for the day.." the first and third choices are definitely out, no doubt. And the fourth is the runner up. I'd have to say the second is the best choice. Key words are 'unprofitable' and 'unsatisfactory' followed by the notion that he wishes he could start over. This gives the impression that he was idle rather than ambitious.
