An emotional connotation is a feeling connected to a specific word or phrase. You can have either a positive or negative, or no connotation connected with a word. Sometimes, the emotional connotation is specific to a person. In this case illiterate means, cannot read or write, so it has a negative connotation.

What is a good technique to help one remember the definition of a word
Evgen [1.6K]

A good technique could be to memorize certain words in the definition that are a direct link to the word itself. For instance, broken means (having been fractured or damaged and no longer in one piece or working order) The words broken, fractured, and damaged are all synonyms of one another. The all mean basically the same thing.

1) Can you think of a situation where well-being is a dream and not a reality?
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

1. Well-being is the state of being healthy, comfortable, and happy. When a person is seriously ill due to an accident or disease, well-being then proves to be a dream and not a reality. As the patient groans in his predicament and longs to get back on his feet, at that point, well-being becomes a dream instead of a reality.

2. I do not think that it is possible to be happy without being content. Happiness comes with contentment. A content person is satisfied with the little he or she possesses and is therefore happy no matter the situation he finds himself. For example, an individual who does not have much materially but still is satisfied with the little he has while maintaining a positive spirit. But a very rich person that lacks contentment may never attain happiness because he would always struggle for more.
