At the end of world war 2 when america invaded japan it created many many hardships for the Japanese because they lost everything and were forced into camps because the Americans did not know who was a civilian and who was in the Japanese imperial army

The leaders who were considered to be war criminals from Japan was arrested, japan was required to follow through demilitarization, and Japan was forced to change its government into a constitutional monarchy.
