irina [24]

Question: Foreign languages are extremely important to students' education. After taking my first Spanish course, I saw a significant increase in my English grade. As a student in Spanish, I learned how to form verbs and verb phrases in that language. Learning about verbs and verb phrases in a different language gave me a different perspective about the same parts of speech in English. This new knowledge made English class much easier, and I received good grades in both classes last year. Learning foreign languages helps students in many different subjects.

Ian wrote a argumentative speech to convince the school board to adopt more foreign language classes at his school. Do the examples from this part of Ian's speech support his position?

I think your answer is,

  • A. No,  because they do not give a detailed explanation of the benefits.

I think this is because;

  • Yes, he got good grades, but it does not mean it's mandatory.
  • He is very close to persuading the audience.

Is it necessary to have lived a certain number of years to be considered mature?
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

Is it necessary to have lived a certain number of years to be considered mature?

Healthy brain, healthy life.

That’s a big question, with many dimensions. I’ll summarise two of these in this post: my other posts will touch on this theme as well.

Walk your own path.

Use your signature strengths to build you pillars – or nurture your roots – to live life with meaning & purpose. This follows four broad steps:

1) adequately understanding yourself

2) having a clear set of well-formed outcomes for the major areas of your life

3) having a plan that works for you so that you live your life in a way that sees you achieving your well-formed outcomes

4) and finally, you adopt the habit of regular reflection to assess

No its not.

Maturity is getting a good understanding of the rules of the game and then being able to decide whether to play by them, adjust them, or create your own completely.

However to understand the game, you have to play. But because of the constraints set by society, our understanding of the game is often limited by insufficient experience. For example, Age and Money. I.e you must be a certain age to marry, work, drive, have kids. You must have a certain amount to money to have access to certain places. This creates the correlation between Age and maturity, and Age, Maturity and money.

In this Information age though, A lack of maturity can be defined as a lack of a vivid imagination and curiosity. Because information is every where.

Thank you and please rate me as brainliest as it will help me to level up

Highlight word choices and statements that show viewpoint in the passage.
White raven [17]

Answer:

nonsense

Explanation:

The author hints at their feelings of disdain towards Kircher numerous times, but the most notable and outright display of their true feelings is through the use of the word 'nonsense'.

The author uses this word to show their contempt towards Kircher's ideas, while the other answer choices are irrelevant or describe things unrelated to Kircher.
