66 \div 2 = 33
33min to read 66 pages

66 \times 2 = 132
66min to read 132 pages

- 66 + 132 = 66
Sam needs to read 132 pages in 66 minutes to reach his agreement

Mick paid $2.94 in sales tax on an item that cost $42.00 before tax. At that rate, how much would he pay in slaes tax for an ite
alexdok [17]

For an item that cost $ 42, Mick paid $2.94 in sales tax. So percentage of sales tax is

\frac{2.94}{42} *100 = 7%

And we have to find the sales tax that he paid for an item that cost $58, and for that , we have to find 7% of 58 , that is

= \frac{7}{100} *58 = $4.06

So he pays a sales tax of $4.06 .
