The problem with exotic species is that there are no predators to control the growth of their population. As a result, this species will compete with native species for food. As there are no natural predators, the population of the exotic species will grow in an uncontrolled manner, exercising unfair competition for food. As a result, the exotic species can deplete the food of other species, leaving them with nothing to eat, which may cause the species to exist.
