Levi borrowed $7129 at 4% simple interest for 6 months. How much will the interest amount to? What is the total amount that Levi
rodikova [14]

Answer:

Interest will amount to $142.58

Total amount Levi will have to pay back at the end of 6 months=$7271.58

Step-by-step explanation:

Simple interest=principal×rate×time

Principal=$7129

Rate=4%=0.04

Time=6 month=0.5 year

Simple interest=principal×rate×time

=$7129×0.04×0.5

=$142.58

Interest will amount to $142.58

Total amount Levi will have to pay back at the end of 6 months

=principal + total interest

=$7129+$142.58

=$7271.58

I need help with the following question, whichever one is right will get brainliest!
Schach [20]

Given: m∠A + m∠B = 90° (Definition of Complementary Angles).

Given: m∠B = (5x + 8)°

A) m∠A = 180° + (5x + 8) is your answer choice:

Why it isn't the others:

B) m∠A = 90° - (5x + 8)

You are solving for complementary angles (90° in total when combined), so you subtract the measurement for B (5x + 8) to get A.

C) m∠A = 180° - 2(5x + 8)°

You double the complementary angle to solve for the supplementary. Essentially, just divide this answer by two to get the complementary angles.

D) m∠A = 82 - 5x

I was confused by this one, but essentially they just did one step of the isolating the variable, which was subtracting 8 from both sides. They did not finish isolating the variable however.

What is the volume of the prism with a base of 6 height of 5 and lenght of 10
Tanzania [10]
\sf Hello!

\sf Dimensions\: of \:the \:Prism :

• \sf Base,\: b = 6
• \sf Height, \:h = 5
• \sf Height, \:H = 10

\sf Then,

\sf Volume \:of \:Prism :

= \dfrac {\sf 1}{\sf 2} × \sf b × \sf h × \sf H

= \dfrac {\sf 1}{\sf 2} × \sf 6 × \sf 5 × \sf 10

= \sf 6 × 5 × 5

= \sf 150

\sf Hence,
\sf The\: volume\: of \: the\: prism\: is \:150\: cubic\: units.

Previous question Rational numbers prior question delete your full name you accidently wrote in your question for rational numbers by pressing edit icon answered here so your edit is possible ok!   Answer is -2t +7t = 5t       Step-by-step explanation: question asks for addition only (4t-6t= -2t)+(8t-1t=7t)   This question on page = 1) At 2:16 p.m.= -180ft - 40ft = -220ft   2) At 2:17 p.m = -175ft-40ft= -115ft  3) At 2:18 p.m. = -185ft - 40ft = -225ft  4) The difference is show your work by reversal 2:18-2:15 = 3 minutes so the distance is also reversed at (-225) - (-40 )= -225 + 40 = -175

Step-by-step explanation: This is minus - number minus- number = minus number counting bkwards  but when when we subtract two minus number with another minus it becomes a  plus +  just between the brackets see question 4 brackets use. The work is using brackets for question 4.
