Calorie counting is not simple to do, due to the fake labels.
The calorie count depends on how processed the food will be. According to The article, some processed foods contain more calories than unprocessed foods.
Also, depending on if the food is cooked or not will also determine the calorie count.
This is not shown in the calorie charts making it difficult to count how many calories you intake.
This proves calorie counting is made very difficult because of the wrong labels.

Which sentence refers to the reality of Farquhar's situation in the dream sequence in section 3 of "An Occurrence at Owl Creek B
Rainbow [258]

“As he is about to clasp her he feels a stunning blow upon the back of the neck; a blinding white light blazes all about him with a sound like the shock of a cannon--then all is darkness and silence!”

Up until this point in Section III, what readers have experienced is a hopeful fantasy where the noose around Farquhar’s neck brakes and he manages to escape to eventually make it back home to his wife. As he is about to hug her, reality catches up to him and he experiences his execution, and this is what the sentence above describes.
