Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

OPTIONS:

a. Force  b. Avoidance  c. Smoothing  d. Compromise

Answer:

a. Force

Explanation:

Force is a method of conflict resolution in which someone of authority or that occupies a position of power, enforces a viewpoint or decision on a conflicting issue in order to end such conflict as quick as possible. It produces a kind of win-lose solution especially when it has to do with making an urgent issue that brings up unnecessary conflicts that can be detrimental to a team. Issues that puts important principles at stake are better resolved using force to compel parties to comply.

Mark should use force as a method of conflict resolution to resolve the conflict among members of his team.

Why were southern states so opposed to outlawing slavery
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

In the 1830s, American abolitionists, led by Evangelical Protestants, gained momentum in their battle to end slavery. Abolitionists believed that slavery was a national sin, and that it was the moral obligation of every American to help eradicate it from the American landscape by gradually freeing the slaves and returning them to Africa.. Not all Americans agreed. Views on slavery varied state by state, and among family members and neighbors. Many Americans—Northerners and Southerners alike—did not support abolitionist goals, believing that anti-slavery activism created economic instability and threatened the racial social order.

But by the mid-nineteenth century, the ideological contradictions between a national defense of slavery on American soil on the one hand, and the universal freedoms espoused in the Declaration of Independence on the other hand, had created a deep moral schism in the national culture. During the thirty years leading up to the Civil War, anti-slavery organizations proliferated, and became increasingly effective in their methods of resistance. As the century progressed, branches of the abolitionist movement became more radical, calling for the immediate end of slavery. Public opinion varied widely, and different branches of the movement disagreed on how to achieve their aims. But abolitionists found enough strength in their commonalities—a belief in individual liberty and a strong Protestant evangelical faith—to move their agenda forward

Jasmeet is interested in conducting an experiment in which she manipulates the amount of food she gives her Siamese fighting fis
timama [110]

Answer:

dependent variable

Explanation:

An experiment is made by associating some types of variables that will directly influence the outcome of the experiment and the conclusion of the hypothesis. These variables are called dependent and independent.

The independent variable is that one that does not need any other variables to measure, as it represents the factor that will be manipulated in a survey. In the case of Jasmeet's research, the independent variable is the amount of food she will provide to her Siamese fighting fish.

On the other hand, the dependent variable is that which shows a result that depends on the independent variable, that is, the result provided by the dependent variable corresponds to how the independent variable was measured and manipulated. Jasmeet did not announce what her dependent variable was, she did not say what would be assessed from the different amounts of feed she would give the fish.

For this reason, we can conclude that the dependent variable is the aspect of the Jasmeet experiment that failed.
