Answer:

Water temperature is important to the life of the plants  around and in the lake.

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide, also known as CO2, is found in water as a dissolved gas. It can be dissolved in water 200 times more easily than oxygen. Aquatic plants depend on carbon dioxide for their life and growth, just as fish depend on oxygen. Plants consume carbon dioxide during the photosynthesis process.

Water temperature can affect metabolic rates and biological activity of aquatic organisms. As such, it affects selected habitats of a variety of aquatic life. Some organisms, especially aquatic plants, thrive in warmer temperatures, while some fish, such as trout or salmon, prefer cooler streams.

Amount of sunlight and depth of water are not the most important to the life of the plants and in the lake.

Burbank process is similar to natural selection because he will select the potato based on some traits. The trait would be big potato and resistant to disease. The genetic makeup will also favor those with the selected trait. This process should be faster.</span>

Explain why a silent mutation might not affect the protein for which it codes
jasenka [17]
Codons that code for the same amino acid are termed synonyms, Silent mutations are base substitutions that result in no change of the amino acid or amino acid functionality when the altered messenger RNA (mRNA) is translated.

Select ALL of the following that are directly used to control fatty acid oxidation in cells.
Serjik [45]

Answer:

The correct statements are A negative feed back regulation if free fatty acid accumulate C targeting the acetyl CoA transport shuttle in the mitochondrial membrane

Explanation:

The beta oxidation of fatty acid can be regulated by several following ways.

A The accumulation of free fatty acids exerts negative feedback during beta oxidation of fatty acids. As oxidation of fatty acids result in the breakdown of complex fatty acids in free fatty acids and acetyl CoA,the accumulation of free fatty acids lowers the rate of beta oxidation of fatty acid.

C The targeting of end  product of beta oxidation that is acetyl CoA to the mitochondrial membrane also regulates the beta oxidation pathway.Because more the transport of acetyl CoA to the mitochondrial membrane more will be the rate of fatty acid break down by beta oxidation.
