The following lines from “Antigone” by Sophocles show Creon’s deep reverence for authority figures.

These lines state that the law must be obeyed by everyone, small or great, just or unjust – everyone must be equal in eyes of law to achieve peace. This is best shown in Creon’s judgment to condone Antigone for her crimes, even though she was the fiancée of his son, Haemon.

Which of these sets of words impact tone in this passage? see passage below
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

D) reading, ideal, implement

Explanation:

The passage talks about the reading culture of a young boy named Randall which was greatly inhibited by the fact that his teachers introduced a lot of old books for them to read, and which he and other students could not really relate to. His perception of what was ideal was a mixture of both old and new books which would create a sort of balance and make reading more enjoyable.

He proposed the idea to his teachers and they promised to implement it. These three keywords: reading, ideal, implement, set the tone of the passage.

Eduardwww [97]

Answer: I dont fully remeber the story, but this is the best answer i can give

Explanation: Tradition means doing something over and over for a long time ussualy within family or culture. Tradition can be dangerous because lets say you had a tradition to maybe play russian roulette every year there is a risk of injury or death.  The setting of the lottery is in a small town where its sunny and has a good mood before the story starts. 2. The steps taken to insure the proper execution of the lottery is that everyone in the town has to gather and draw slips of paper. 3. What are the opinions of at least two townspeople regarding the lottery. Their opinions are that some people like as long as they are not the ones chosen. The mom in the story had won the lottery, and inturn had died from being stoned to death. I think they do this because of population control, or maybe they are sadistic
