The Proclamation of 1763:

The American colonist were already associated in trade with Britain and also were governed by them, Also Great Britain had established various colonies in North America. The colonies were dependent on Britain for import of goods and supplies.

The king issued the Proclamation act in 1763 following the French and Indian wars to control its expansion into the western regions. The law prohibited any colonial settlement beyond the Appalachian Mountains and the colonist who had already settled here were ordered to move east.

Then again the parliament passed the Quartering Act where the colonists had to find or pay for their accommodations in America. The King also issued several taxes to meet the needs and to pay the debts levied over them from the French and Indian wars.

Many colonists stating the violation of their rights as British citizens, revolted against these acts. The colonists started boycotting several British products, some colonists also engaged in the famous Boston tea party.

Katen [24]

Answer: The correct answer is "Identity".

Explanation:

Multiple theorists in social sciences have proposed that individuals create their identity based on several factors. One of those factors is the identification with the social groups that they associate with.

Those groups play an important role in the sense of identity of certain individuals, as they use them as a reference group.

In this particular case, ethan clearly identifies with Phi Theta Kappa in all of the actions presented in the text.

All of the actions serve to reinforce Ethan's identity with regard to the Phi Theta Kappa group.
