Answer:

Freedom from oppression and the attainment of human rights will be freedom for Roosevelt.

Explanation:

According to Roosevelt, though the fight for freedom against any form of oppression is needed and had to be done, so is the need and importance of the supremacy of the rights of humans. But above all, whatever may be done and thought of, nothing like victory compares to the full attainment of freedom for the people. So, to him, victory will be the absolute attainment of freedom and human rights by the people of America.

Mrs. Pontellier's feelings are communicated primarily through which technique of third-person narration?
aleksklad [387]

Mrs. Pontellier's feelings are communicated primarily through her actions which help in signaling the state of her mind.

  • The third-person narration is when the person saying the story is not part of the story but rather telling the story of someone else. In the passage, Mr. Pontellier returned late from the hotel. When he got home, his wife and kids were already asleep. His wife woke up when he got to the room but wasn't interested in what he was saying and this got him angry.

  • He then went to the children's room and saw that one of the boys began to kick the wall and then started talking while asleep. Mr. Pontellier then went back to his wife and told her that Raoul had fever and that his wife should look after him but the wife insisted that Raoul doesn't have fever. The husband insisted that he knew the symptoms of fever and was sure that the boy had fever.

  • Despite this, his wife didn't go to the children's room to check the child but rather, went to the next room and refused to answer her husband.

In conclusion, the actions of Mrs. Pontellier’s actions helped in signaling the state of her mind.
