Mrs. Pontellier's feelings are communicated primarily through her actions which help in signaling the state of her mind.

  • The third-person narration is when the person saying the story is not part of the story but rather telling the story of someone else. In the passage, Mr. Pontellier returned late from the hotel. When he got home, his wife and kids were already asleep. His wife woke up when he got to the room but wasn't interested in what he was saying and this got him angry.

  • He then went to the children's room and saw that one of the boys began to kick the wall and then started talking while asleep. Mr. Pontellier then went back to his wife and told her that Raoul had fever and that his wife should look after him but the wife insisted that Raoul doesn't have fever. The husband insisted that he knew the symptoms of fever and was sure that the boy had fever.

  • Despite this, his wife didn't go to the children's room to check the child but rather, went to the next room and refused to answer her husband.

In conclusion, the actions of Mrs. Pontellier’s actions helped in signaling the state of her mind.

Answer:

Fairytale with no name

Explanation:

'Fairytale with no name' is basically a Greek book, but it is also translated in English.

The message that the author wants to share is that if one person kept their sanity and tried to educate all the others and finally got them united, even the worst obstacles and the most difficult hardships could be overcome.

That is a very motivational and emotional book that is definitely more effective that a relative speech or essay, because while those two would try to spread literal messages, the specific book is written like a fairytale and it of course attracts even younger audiences and it is obviously much more interesting!

I hope I helped!

1. What are the four apparitions Macbeth sees? What do the first three visions say?
rewona [7]

Answer:    The three apparitions that Macbeth sees in Act 4 symbolize a threat towards Macbeth in their own way. The third apparition takes the form of a child wearing a crown and holding a tree. This apparition tells Macbeth that he will never be defeated, not until the day Birnam Wood moves to Dunsinane Hill.     First Vision: The first vision warns Macbeth to beware Macduff. This vision is the most straightforward of the three because it is Macduff who kills Macbeth in the end.

Second Vision: The second vision tells Macbeth that no one of woman born will kill him. Macbeth takes that to mean that no one will kill him, but what it really means is that someone who was removed from his mother's womb early will kill Macbeth.

Third Vision: The third vision tells Macbeth that he will see his end only when Birnam wood moves to Dunsinane Hill. Macbeth believes that that means that he will never fall from the throne or be killed. However, the witches have set Macbeth up to be confident in his own invincibility when really he is near his end.
