The Battle of Monmouth was a battle in the American Revolutionary War and it did not have a winner. The Americans did not gain substantial ground at the same time the British were unable to go on. But at the same time, both sides accomplished their objectives. The Americans were able to gain confidence because they were able to fight on equal terms with the British force.
