Answer:

Exact solution to the equation is 10-log4(x+6) = 9 is -2

Explanation:

As we have given the logarithm equation in the question that

10-log4(x+6)=9 ……….(1)

Now by using the logarithm property, we know that

x+6>0

So x>-6

Now from equation 1

log4(x+6)=1

As we know the anti log property as loga(x)=b then it becomes (x)=(a)^b

Now by using anti log Properties, the above equation would becomes

x+6=(4)^1

x+6=(4)

x=-6+(4)

So x=-2

Hence the possible value of x that satisfy the given logarithm equation is -2.

Answer:

The information we need is that the angle between the sides (that is, angle TVU for triangle TVU and angle WVX for triangle WVX) need to be equal.

These angles are vertically opposite angles, because they are formed by two lines crossing, so these angles are equal.

Step-by-step explanation:

The SAS Congruence Theorem says that if two triangles have 2 equal sides and the angle between these sides are also equal, the triangles are congruent.

In this question, we know that the sides UV and VW are congruent, as V is the midpoint of UW. We also know that TV = VX, so now we have two equal sides for each triangle.

The information we need is that the angle between the sides (that is, angle TVU for triangle TVU and angle WVX for triangle WVX) need to be equal.

These angles are vertically opposite angles, because they are formed by two lines crossing, so these angles are equal.

Now we can conclude that the triangles are congruent.

Area=500 height=2x+6 width=4x-3: what is the exact width?
san4es73 [151]

Area of a rectangle is lxb

(4x-3) * (2x+6) = 500

{(4x * 2x) + (4x * 6)} + {( -3 * 2x) + (-3 * 6)} - multiplying the factors

{8x^2 + 24x} + {-6x + -18}

8x^2 + 24x -6x -18 - removing the brackets

8x^2 +15x -18
