Even though most corporate bonds in the United States make coupon payments semiannually, bonds issued elsewhere often have annua
max2010maxim [7]

Answer:

Market Price $985.01

Explanation:

We have to convert the US semiannually rate to annually.

(1 + 0.078/2)^{2} -1 = 0.079521

Now this is the annual rate spected for a similar US Bonds

So we are going to calculate the present value using this rate.

Present value of an annuity of 78 for 20 years at 7.9521%

C * \frac{1-(1+r)^{-time} }{rate} = PV\\

78 * \frac{1-(1+0.079521)^{-20} }{0.079521} = PV\\

PV = 768.55

And we need to add the present value ofthe 1,000 euros at this rate

\frac{Principal}{(1 + rate)^{time} = Present Value}

\frac{1,000}{(1 + 0.079521)^{20} = Present Value }

Present Value = 216.4602211

Adding those two values together

$985.01

The reasoning behind this is that an american investor will prefer at equal price an US bonds because it compounds interest twice a year over the German Bonds.

Economists tend to see ticket scalping asA. an unproductive activity which should be made illegal everywhere.B. a way for a few
arlik [135]

Answer:

<h2>C. A way of increasing the efficiency of ticket distribution </h2>

Explanation:

Ticket Scalpers are the ticket speculators who buy the tickets to a sport or performance event and resells them at higher prices. Lassiez-faire economists consider it to be a good thing. the correct value of the ticker is decided by the market but the Scalpers are flexible in pricing than the venue, they may also bear a loss while still guaranteeing the full value that venue gets. But the problem with the scalping is the at the value goes to the <u><em>agents</em></u> instead of the venue that is providing the product.

The W.C. Pruett Corp. has $800,000 of interest-bearing debt outstanding, and it pays an annual interest rate of 8%. In addition,
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

1. TIE ratio = EBIT / Interest expense

EBIT = [ (Annual sales x profit margin) / (1 - tax rate) ] + Amount of debt x interest rate

= [ ($2,880,000 x 3%) / (1 - 0.30) ] + $800,000 x 8%

= 187428.57143

= $187,428.57

TIE ratio = $187,428.57 / ($800,000 x 8%)

TIE ratio = $187,428.57 / $64,000

TIE ratio = 2.92857

TIE ratio = 2.93

2. ROIC = [ EBIT x (1 - tax rate) ] / (Amount of debt + common stock)

= [$187428.57  x (1 - 0.30) ] / ($800,000 + $600,000)

= 0.093714285

= 9.37%
