Please help me find and correct the run-on sentence in this paragraph. One person's junk is another person's treasure, so bring

The cause is having to move the newspapers because they were taking up to much space or it was recycling day. The effect would, because of the sloping driveway, the newspapers would fall out of the wheelbarrow making a mess.
