A sweatshop is a type of factory which was usually worked in by lower-class immigrants, who were paid very little. Sweatshops were likely to be unsanitary and dangerous, and were usually breaking the law with either what they were manufacturing, or the working conditions that employees had to endure.

Answer:

The exploitation factories were factories that usually hired children, immigrants and pregnant women, these factories were characterized by their long working hours, paying very low wages, having very poor working conditions and not respecting labor regulations. These types of factories caused great damage to their workers, they only changed with the appearance of the organized labor movement.

What was the result of the telephone/telegraph?
I think this should be right. It depends on what time period but I remember reading about it a while back in history about how the telephone/telegraph improved communication. I'm thinking the telegraph is the most likely answer but I can't be certain. Some people would say technology or internet but I'm pretty sure its 'telegraph or telephone".
