When you need to discipline employees, it is important to discipline different employees differently for the same policy violati

on in order to prevent them from becoming complacent. It is necessary to work independently from the human resources department and create your own procedures.

Answer: False

Explanation:

Employees should be discipline same way for same policy violations. This will give the employees the impression that no one was cheated or given preferential treatment. Everyone gets same stroke for same offence. The human resources department can't be do away with. They are the ones in charge of employees.

When the code that follows is executed, a message is displayed if the value the user entersvar userEntry = (prompt("Enter cost:"
Reika [66]

Answer:

The answer is "Option b".

Explanation:

In the given-code variable "userEntry" is defined that prompt the user to input value and in the next step, the conditional statement is used, which checks the input value is not a number and greater than 500 with use of OR operator. if the condition is true it uses the alert box to print the message, that's why in this question except "choice b" all were wrong.

What are the benefits of using an ordered list vs. an unordered list? What are the costs?
Rashid [163]

Answer:

The main benefit of the ordered list is that you can apply Binary Search( O( n log n) ) to search the elements. Instead of an unordered list, you need to go through the entire list to do the search( O(n) ).

The main cost of the ordered list is that every time you insert into a sorted list, you need to do comparisons to find where to place the element( O( n log n) ). But, every time you insert into an unsorted, you don't need to find where to place the element in the list ( O(1) ). Another cost for an ordered list is where you need to delete an element, you have an extra cost rearranging the list to maintain the order.
