Plants reproduction includes different types of sexual and asexual reproduction. In the case of sexual reproduction that implies gametes of different plants being fused through fertilization, this occurs through different structures in flowers which are the reproductive structures in many plants. This includes the pistil that produces ovules and it is considered as the female organ in plants, the style, and stigma that are part of the pistil, the statement that contains pollen or male gametophyte and therefore is considered as the male organ and includes the anther and filament. However, the sepal is not part of this reproductive system as these are structures similar to leaves that are in the base of the flower and protect this before it opens or blossoms.
