How did the depression pave the way for the rise of hitler?

History

IRISSAK [1]3 years ago

Germany's economy had diminished due to the Great Depression, and Hitler advertised ideas that were appealing to the public at this time, such as improving the people's lives, lowering unemployment rates, improving Germany's economy, etc. The people were also upset about the Treaty of Versailles, and Hitler expressed his dislike of it to the people as well. Hitler and the people had many views in common, which allowed him to relate with the people and gain support. Other countries, like the US and Great Britain, were facing their own economic problems, so they basically ignored Hitler's rise to power.
