The correct answer is B. An ethical issue that many people today is debating is genetic engineering.

Genetic engineering is the direct manipulation of the genes of an organism using biotechnology to modify genes, eliminate them or duplicate them.

Genetic engineering can pose serious ethical problems. There are very diverse opinions about where the limits of manipulation of the material that is at the base of all vital processes must be placed.

At the beginning of the recombinant DNA experiments, several researchers showed their concern about the risks that can be performed with these techniques. In several countries, committees were created to discuss the use and application of genetic engineering techniques.

How is colonialism different from economic imperialism
Crank

Answer:

"Though both the words underline suppression of the other, Colonialism is where one nation assumes control over the other and Imperialism refers to political or economic control, either formally or informally. In simple words, colonialism can be thought to be a practice and imperialism as the idea driving the practice."

ILL MARK BRAINLY!!!!!!!!!!!Infer: If Columbus and all European explorers had been kind, and helpful, and never deliberately harm
Tresset [83]

Answer:

A) The natives would have been wiped out by smallpox and other European diseases anyway, since they had no immunity

Explanation:

Even if the Europeans were not cruel and aggressive toward the native populations of the Americas, the end result wouldn't have been much different. The reason for this is that the majority of the deaths of the Native Americans came from the European diseases, as their immune system was not able to cope with them. Yes, there were lot of deaths caused by wars, torture, and forced labor, but compared to the deaths caused by diseases they comprise a very small percentage. The Europeans didn't wanted to wipe out the native populations at all, as their plan was to use them as labor force on their plantations, but that didn't came to be, as the diseases they brought with them had an effect similar to the one of the plague in Europe.

Why do you think voter turnout is low in the United States and is it a problem?
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

After increasing for many decades, there has been a trend of decreasing voter turnout in most established democracies since the 1980s. In general, low turnout is attributed to disillusionment, indifference, or a sense of futility (the perception that one's vote won't make any difference).
