Answer:

The Russian Revolution of 1905 was a wave of mass political agitation throughout large areas of the Russian Empire that occurred throughout the year 1905. Some of the altercations were directed against the government, others simply lacked purpose beyond very grievances. punctual of the working class or the peasantry. There were cases of terrorism, strikes of workers, peasant disturbances and military riots, all having in common a widespread popular dissatisfaction with the regime of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. The revolution led to the establishment of a limited constitutional monarchy and to the State Duma of the Russian Empire.

The war against Japan, in a popular principle, was now contributing to the general discontent over the succession of defeats and the lack of clear objectives. The evident inequality of emancipation was being revised, while the peasants protested burning farms across the country. The economic growth of the 1890s gave way to a depression during which the workers protested their appalling conditions. In 1903, one third of the Russian army in the western part of the country was assigned "repressive action" tasks.

wich was not a reason johnson used when vetoing the extension of the freedmens bureau and civil rights bill of 1866
Mkey [24]
He vetoed it for various reasons. For starters, he believed that it was a thing up to individual states and that it infringed on the states right to choose. Another reason was that he believed that such beneficial extension would not make people equal, but rather it would be racist towards the white people. His main argument, however, was that the bill would have a certain group gain rights that they are not entitled to, while a large part of the states does not even have representation in the congress, and that the congress needs to be enlarged first.

Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

The Vietnam war was a colonial revolution rather than a civil war

Explanation:

  • The war in Vietnam was a war fought between 1955 and 1975 to prevent the reunification of Vietnam under a socialist or communist government. In this war the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) participated, which was against the communists, with the support of the United States and other allied nations of the United States against the local guerrillas of the National Front for the Liberation of Vietnam ( Viet Cong) and the Army of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam), backed by China and the Soviet Union. The conflict began with an attempt to unify the two Vietnam in a single coalition government between nationalists, communists and neutrals, according to the initial proposal. The actions of the United States to prevent this reunification, together with a succession of violent, corrupt and inefficient dictatorships imposed by the United States, provoked the armed uprising of several groups united under the self-styled National Liberation Front, Viet Cong, quickly supported by the then Soviet Union and Mao's China. Initially Saigon was losing ground.
  • The Korean War took place between 1950 and 1953. Its components were the Republic of Korea (or South Korea), supported by the armed forces of several countries commanded by the United States; and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (or North Korea), supported by the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union. The war was one of the earliest episodes of the Cold War. Excluding more than 3 million civilians and almost 15% of the population of the dead North, it constitutes one of the most bloodthirsty wars in history. Five years before, after the end of World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union agreed to split Korea into two. They drew the border on the 38th parallel, leaving the North in charge of the Soviet Union and the South in charge of the United States. Each superpower controlled in its respective area the constitution of two new states that were under their respective orbits: the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the north and the Republic of Korea in the south. Although negotiations were held for the reunification of Korea in the months before the war, the tension intensified with cross-border skirmishes and incursions on the 38th parallel. The escalation of tension degenerated into an open war when North Korea invaded South Korea on the 25th. June 1950.

12. Who was primarily responsible for the Cold War - the United States or the Soviet Union? Explain your hypothesis using eviden
Degger [83]

Answer:

Neither, technically

Explanation:

In my opinion, it was actually Germany who started the Cold War. I know that sounds weird, but hear me out.  After the end of World War II, the allied powers divided Germany and Berlin  for themselves. Meanwhile the Soviets would establish Communist dictatorships in Eastern Europe. Germany was the first place that the powers engaged against, with the West uniting their parts of germany into the Republic of West Germany, while in the East, the Soviets created East Germany.
Germany was the real contester that both the Soviets and the West wanted. Now obviously this kind of proves that the USSR started the whole thing. Most people are biased against the USSR, and I can see their point. However the US was the first to back the proxy wars, with the Greek Civil War and the tensions in turkey, thus lighting the fire for the chaos to come

So who actually started it? Depends on who you ask.
