During the Convention, there were many differences between the Northern and the Southern states by the time the Constitutional Convention was held in 1787. The purpose of this Constitutional Convention was to modify the Articles of the Confederation, established after the victory over England in the Revolutionary War.

The Constitutional Convention was held from May 14 to September 17, 1787, in the city of Philadelphia, where the delegates proposed a series of plans to create the new form of government and unite the colonies. One of the more problematic issues in the discussions was the topic of slavery.

Define threshold, and relative and absolute refractory period. Explain the state of ion channels and the stimulus amplitude requ
Leona [35]

Answer:

Threshold is a specific voltage that is needed by a neuron to generate action potential

the absolute refractory period is period in which neurons are unable to generate second action potential. And relative refractory period is interval following absolute refractory period.

Normally -70mV voltage is required to stimulate an action potential

Explanation:

The relative refractory period is the period occur shortly after the depolarization of a nerve fiber when partial repolarization has occurred and need a greater stimulus which can stimulate a second action potential.

During an action potential, sodium channels (voltage gated)  open, and sodium rushes into the cell  because there is more sodium outside the cell than inside and after specific time period sodium channels closed and at the same  time potassium channels opens which let the positive ions (potassium ions) to goes out of the cell which makes axon negative and again ready for other action potential

The action potential generates at  −70 mV which raised it to threshold potential which is above −55mV then rapidly rises to a peak potential of +40 mV and then the potential  drops and overshoots to −90 mV, and the resting potential of −70 mV is reestablished.

The effect of perceiving spatial or thematic relationships even when we are given minimal visual information via shots filmed at
Westkost [7]

Answer:

Kuleshov effect

Explanation:

The Kuleshov effect is an effect first demonstrated by Lev Kuleshov (who was a filmmaker) in the 1910's. This effect refers to a phenomenon by which persons perceive more meaning from the interaction of two shots than from a single shot.

The implications of this effect is that, when given minimal information, persons will use their own emotional reactions and attribute them to the images and then attribute  the same reactions to the actor, thinking he/she has the same feelings the viewer is experimenting.

Therefore, The effect of perceiving spatial or thematic relationships even when we are given minimal visual information via shots filmed at entirely different times and places is known as the Kuleshov effect.
