As the name suggests, Magical Realist literature is the style of fiction which creates reality with the mixture of supernatural or the elements of magic in it.
The term "Magical Realism" was first coined by Franz Roh who was a German art critic. This genre is most commonly related with Latin American Literature. Latin American Author, Gabriel Garcia is considered to be the founder of this genre in Latin American Literature. authors such as Salman Rushdie, Alice Hoffman, and many others are the writers who have contributed in this genre.
