To assume that absolutely all people who hold a nativist point of view was cruel is very vague because it has no way of proving or sustaining itself. When it comes to making objective summaries must take into account the real events, based on truthful information and not put our own perspective in the text because it is not about us and what we think or feel, it is about real event without mixing our feelings with what happened.

To make it a little clearer, if someone states in a text that all Germans during a time wanted to kill all Jews would be an invalid, false and very inappropriate statement for a historical summary. Although the Nazi movement had as its purpose the eradication of Jews, not all Germans were Nazi and not all those who belonged to the Nazi movement wanted to kill people, many of them just needed a job.

Kat

What is a buffer colony?
levacccp [35]
A buffer colony - like Georgia, for example - was founded because colonists wanted a "buffer zone" (any area that serves the purpose of keeping two or more other areas distant from one another.) between the British colonies and other settlements. Georgia, specifically, was founded to protect South Carolina against attack by the Spanish, the french and the Indians.

I hope this is useful.
