If MAYA is M years, and you want to see how old she is in four. You would do M + 4. For example lets say you knew MAYA was 8. How old is she in 4 years? M + 4. Replace it ( 8 + 4 ), she would be 12 in 4 years. M could be any number age and it would be true. Her age + 4 = her age in 4 years. Hope this helped :)

She wants to use 3/4 of the recipe and 3/4 of a cup 4 times equals three cups. Three cups is 3/4 of 4 cups.

In a lottery, 5000 tickets are sold for $1 each, one first prize of $2000, 1 second prize of $500, 3 third prizes of $100, and 1
RSB [31]
There is 1/5000 chance to win first place of $2000,
1/5000 chance to win second place of $500
3/5000 chance to win third place of $100
10/5000 chance to win the consolation prize of $25.
The ticket costs $1.
We multiply each probability by the amount, and subtract the ticket cost, to get the expected net earnings:
(1/5000)($2000) + (1/5000)($500) + (3/5000)($100) + (10/5000)($25) - $1 = $(-0.39).
This means that there is an expected loss of $0.39.

The table below shows all the possible outcomes when Henry spins two fair spinners. Spinner A is labelled with sections D, M and
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

well, logically, it must be M, 2

b)

this is a combined probability for one single pair of possible outcomes.

there are 15 pairs, all with the same probability.

so, P(Q, 4) = number of desired outcomes / number of possible outcomes = 1/15

as combined probability we can also say the probability to get 4 on one wheel is 1/5, and the probabilty to get Q on the other wheel is 1/3

so, P(Q, 4) = 1/3 × 1/5 = 1/15
