The correct answer is A.

The Enforcement Acts were criminal codes issued to punish both states and citizens that were not respecting the provisions that had been included in the Reconstruction Amendments: 13th, 14th and 15th, issued after the US Civil War in 1865, 1868 and 1870 respectively.

These amendments abolished slavery and included the Equal Protection clause, that guaranteed equality of rights for all US citizens without discrimination in terms of race, color or previous condition of servitude.

Integration of the high school in Little Rock finally happened when
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

In 1957, a federal court ordered integration in Little Rock, Arkansas, public schools. Nine black children were selected for admission to Little Rock Central High School, but local police, by decision of the state governor Faubus, did not allow them to attend classes. After the Little Rock crisis attracted media attention and sparked an international outcry, President Dwight Eisenhower sent federal troops to Little Rock. On September 24, 1,200 soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, were brought into the city. Soldiers accompanied the children on their way to school and guarded them in the corridors. To deprive Governor Faubus of the opportunity to continue to impede integration, the president reassigned the entire 10,000th Arkansas National Guard to Washington. From that moment, African American children began to attend classes.

Initially, the communist forces looked to be the weaker of the two and the ‘Whites’ made good progress, pushing inwards from the
Katen [24]

Answer:

War communism was an economic and political system applied in the Soviet Union during the Russian Civil War from 1918 to 1921, introduced by the Bolsheviks to continue supplying cities and the Red Army with food and weapons under conditions where all normal economic systems were halted by the war.

Its characteristic features were the extreme centralization of economic management, the nationalization of large, medium and even small industries, the state monopoly on many agricultural products, surplus appropriation, the prohibition of private trade, the curtailment of commodity-money relations, equalization in the distribution of material wealth, and the militarization of labor. This policy was based on communist ideology, in which the ideal of a planned economy was seen in the transformation of the country into a single factory, the head office of which directly controls all economic processes.
