when Cortes arrived the Aztecs treated them as Gods that came in moving hills, and shiny armor, for the Aztecs they were gods and gave them gold, food, drink and all they wished for, but then there was a point where Cortes wanted more so he kidnapped Moctezuma and tried to bribe them to give him all, but the Aztecs started calling Moctezume Cortes slave so at the end the Aztecs started throwing rocks at Moctezuma and ended up killing him because he brought danger towards them.
