In average, when x increases by 1, f(x) also increases by the same value of 1 between x=2 and x=6 :)

Answer:

average rate of change = 1

step-by-step explanation:

calculate the average rate of change for f(x) from x = 2 to x = 6

Average rate of change = \frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}

From the graph ,

when x=2 , f(2)= 2

When x= 6, f(6)= 6

Average rate of change = \frac{f(6)-f(2)}{6-2}

Plug in the values

Average rate of change = \frac{6-2}{6-2}=1

You and your friend get the same magazine. You spend $15 for twelve issues. Your friend pays $1.50 per issue but gets the first
Allushta [10]
He will get 12 issues too. Since he spent 15 dollars  in total you would divide that by 1.50 to see how many he actually purchased and it comes out to 10 meaning that he got 10 issues with the money. Now he got two free issues so you would add them to the ones he purchased, so 10 + 2 which would equal 12. So in total he got 12 issues. I hope that helps and wasn't confusing.

On the assembly line it takes 2 ½ minutes to complete task one, 3 minutes 10 seconds to complete task two and 1 minute to comple
Anna71 [15]
Task 1 ----- 2 \frac{1}{2}minutes
Task 2 ----- 3 min 10 sec = 3+10/60 = 3\frac{1}{6} minutes
Task 3 ----- 1 min
Total time to make 1 item = 2 \frac{1}{2} + 3 \frac{1}{6} +1 = 6 \frac{2}{3}minutes

In 25 minutes;

Number of items made = 25/(6 2/3) = 3.75 items = 3 items (since only a fully assembly can be regarded as an item).<span />
