Parts of Antarctica are considered to be deserts because it is too dry, there's no rainfall because it is too cold and the amount of snow that falls yearly is comparable with the amount of rains that falls in thee driest deserts on the planet, thus the lack of rain and snow makes it a proper desert, cold desert.

A normal fault is when a rock at one side of the fault is pushed down relative to the other side. On the otherhand, the reverse fault is where a rock at one side of the fault is pushed up relative to the other side.
Earth would suddenly warm up because more heat from the Sun would be allowed to enter the atmosphere.
The sun light would not be reflected in this situation. This would increase the earth temperature drastically.
