How do you plan to use financial statements in your projected financial statement analysis? Provide rationale for your approach.
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

The financial statement provides the "raw materials" with which the financial performance of an organisation may be analysed.

The financials ratios not only monitor financial performance, but it also speaks to the quality of performance and serves as a basis to compare one period against the other.

The cashflows help to create a picture of the project's liquidity in each of the forecasted periods.

The Income statement helps to gauge the quality of the earnings per period and the balance sheet shows the economic position of the firm at the time under observation.

Kelly Addison is a designer clothing buyer for a chain of department stores. She has gone through several negotiation certification programs and is considered an expert negotiator by her peers.

-When Kelly sees value in a product but does not want to pay the offered price, she often offers to split the difference between what she wants to pay and what the seller wants. Which of the following would be most likely to stall the negotiations with Kelly?

A)accepting the offer to split the difference

B)making another pricing counteroffer

C)offering better delivery and payment terms if she matches the asked price

D)standing firm on price but offering a discount for the second order

Answer:

B) making another pricing counteroffer

Explanation:

We are told that Kelly Addison is an expert negotiator and has received several negotiation certification programs. She also has a policy in which whenever she sees value in a product but does not want to pay the offered price, she splits the difference between what she wants to pay and what the seller wants.

Thus, making another pricing counteroffer may stall the negotiations with Kelly.

We have an intuitive appreciation for those who are able to earn a profit. We can see that resources flow to those who successfu
mr_godi [17]
Let's start it this way. Since a market system is a system of profit and loss, naturally, both profit or loss will play a vital role in the equation or system. Capitalist economies depend on markets when it comes to their economic activities. The market's role is to serve as a basis for them in determining what profitable activities and enterprises should the people invest on.Without the presence of loss in the equation of a market system, these people will not be able to determine where they should invest and/or withdraw from. Therefore, people base their decision of using their resources through knowing first the profit and loss. The loss will help them go away from companies or activities which will bring the losses. The downside for using the government in shielding companies from having losses is that the government will be abused by these companies. Since all companies will naturally want to not experience having losses.
