Based on my information, I believe that this would actually be a statistical because the question contains extra information that would help you narrow down the answer. The question could have been a lot easier, such as: "how much do horses weigh", but it does not, it
contained extra data that would help answer the question to the point.

A confidence interval for a sample is given, followed by several hypotheses to test using that sample. In each case, use the con
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is the results of a hypothesis testing for sample mean with population mean.

H_0; \bar x = 88\\H_a: \bar x \neq 88

(Two tailed test at 1% significance level)

Reason:Two tailed because confidence interval is (100,136) with mean =118

Significance level = 100-confidence level

Given that confidence interval is (100,136)

i.e. we can be 99% confident that if samples for large sizes are drawn from this population will have mean within this interval

In this case sample mean 88 does not fall within this interval

Hence our null hypothesis has to be rejected

The table below shows the population of different duck species at a local pond. Which term best describes the total number of Ma
rjkz [21]
The answer to the question is :

A) Mallard Population

The reason this is the answer is because the question asks for the term that best describes the TOTAL number of Mallards in the pond, and the right term, or phrase, would be Mallard Population.

A submarine is descending to examine the seafloor 2,100 feet below the surface. it takes the submarine 2 hours to make this desc
Andrej [43]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

x = time

y = elevation

At x = 0  ,  y  = 0

It takes the submarine 2 hours to make descent of 2100 ft

=> x = 2 , y  = - 2100

Slope = ( -2100 - 0)/(2 - 0)  =  -1050

y - 0 = -1050 ( x -0)

=> y = -1050x

1050x  + y = 0

represent the relationship between the submarine's elevation and time.

Rationalise the denominator of (12)/(\sqrt(10)+\sqrt(7)+\sqrt(3))
jasenka [17]

Answer:

\frac{12}{\sqrt{10} +\sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3} }=\frac{6\sqrt{147} +6\sqrt{63}-6\sqrt{210}  }{21 }

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{12}{\sqrt{10} +\sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3} }

=\frac{12\left( \sqrt{10} -\left( \sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3} \right)  \right)  }{(\sqrt{10}+(\sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3 } ))( \sqrt{10} -( \sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3}))}

=\frac{12\left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{\sqrt{10^2} -(\sqrt{7} +\sqrt{3})^2}

\frac{12\left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{10-(10+2\sqrt{21} )} }

=\frac{12\left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{-2\sqrt{21} }

=\frac{-6\left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{\sqrt{21} }

=\frac{-6\left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{\sqrt{21} } \times\frac{\sqrt{21} }{\sqrt{21} }

=\frac{-6\sqrt{21} \left( \sqrt{10} -\sqrt{7} -\sqrt{3} \right)  }{21 }

=\frac{-6\sqrt{210} +6\sqrt{147} +6\sqrt{63}  }{21 }

=\frac{6\sqrt{147} +6\sqrt{63}-6\sqrt{210}  }{21 }

<u><em>Remark</em></u>:

You can simplify moreover if you want to.
