The theme is the moral or the lesson of the story.  After reading the story, which of the answers gives you a lesson that is universal (can apply to anyone) and fits with the story.  For example, one could say that the moral of Finding Nemo is "always listen to your parents as they know best".  No specific details like names or places are given in the theme.

The theme of a text refers to the main idea that it tries to communicate to the reader. You cannot describe a theme in many words. Usually the theme can be identified in 1 to 3 words.

Fables are famous for being the easiest text for identifying a theme.

For example in The Lion and the Mouse, the theme is Loyalty and Trust.

That is the message that the author wants to communicate to the reader when the characters make favors to each other that saves their own lives.

attashe74 [19]

"Honey, why are you arriving home so late?" my mother inquired.

"I had some afternoon lessons, Mom," I said.

"You were supposed to be here 2 hours ago. I was worried about you," she replied, in a very tense tone of voice. "I am very disappointed."

"I am sorry, Mom. I will try arriving earlier next time," I apologized.

Sorry, I don't really know what to write other than this. Lol.

What best describes how “Ain’t I a women?” Related to the time period in which truth lived
ki77a [65]

Sojourner Truth delivered her Ain`t I a Woman? speech in 1851 at the Women's Rights Convention in Akron, Ohio. Her short, simple speech was a powerful rebuke to many antifeminist arguments of the day. It became, and continues to serve, as a classic expression of women`s rights. Truth became, and still is today, a symbol of strong women.
