Answer: Keynesian economists stated that the recession of 1937 was a result of a premature effort to curb government spending and balance the budget. Roosevelt had been cautious not to run large deficits. In 1937 he actually achieved a balanced budget. Therefore, he did not fully utilize deficit spending.

How did the Indian Removal Act of 1830 contribute to religious discrimination against Native Americans?
Norma-Jean [14]

Enacted during the time of President Andrew Jackson, the Indian Removal Act of 1830 was designed to ensure that negotiations between the President and the Native American tribes can take place for their relocation.

Practically, the law was used to forcibly removed a large number of Native Americans from their natural home and live in another part of the country.

The government justified this as a way to create segregation and provide more space for the expanding American colonies.

Today, the Act is remembered as a systematic genocide against a people based on their race and religion. Many Americans did not object to Christian converts and people who adopted local customs.

However, Native Americans who kept on living with their old traditions and religions were labelled as Savages and very few people had sympathy for them. Hence, it can be clearly called religious and racial discrimination.

What was the renaissance, what does "renaissance" mean, where did it begin, and when did it occur?
omeli [17]
The Renaissance was a period of time in French history. It started in France then the ideas and inventions quickly spread to the rest of the world. "Renaissance" means light, joy, and happiness. I believe that printing press was invented during this time, and public knowledge grew. Books could be printed faster, and this helped with the era's feeling of light and peace. Art became a big thing and many developing artists found sponsors among the wealthy. Money spread quicker and the poor population's size decreased by a vast amount.
