The Empire State Building was carefully planned to be put up in record time. Daily progress charts were passed out with a printed timetable. The charts specified what would happen on that day, along with identifying each truck that would drive in to deliver materials. The steel pieces were numbered to put it in the proper place.

Hope this helps. I gotta head back.

Sample response: Thinking ahead allowed builders to construct the Empire State Building very quickly. Every day, workers were given instructions that showed what had to be done and where each delivery needed to go. Individual materials were marked to make sure they went to the right place in the building.
